The Upper Body Ergometer (UBE) by First Degree Fitness engages virtually every muscle in the body. As a warm up for resistance training, it provides better activation of the torso than traditional alternatives. As a cardio vascular tool, the results are exceptional. When used in the standing position, the UBE engages all core muscles of the mid section. It is also in the rehabilitation of many injuries and as a general exercise apparatus for those in wheel chairs.

Bi-Directional
This multi-function cycle elliptical operates in both forward and reverse directions for maximum muscle engagement and allows for isolation of core muscle groups. With variable fluid resistance this UBE offers 20 resistance levels.

This versatile machine operates as a standing or seated Upper Body Ergometer. Total body conditioning can be achieved with this combination ergometer which instantly adaptable between 3 functions.

Seated Upper Body Ergometer : – Seat is movable, with user in places, to allow correct exercise position and easy access to and from from the machine.
Standing Upper Body Ergometer:- When used in the standing position, the UBE engages all core muscles of the mid section.
Recumbent cycle / Wheelchair access: – It is also used in the rehabilitation of many injuries and as a general exercise apparatus for those in wheelchairs.
Bluetooth Auto-Adjust Monitor
Each rower is fitted with the most advanced console technology, enabling Bluetooth connectivity with any compatible smart device. Designed to integrate with rowing and fitness apps, the console will assist with effective training progression, capturing and comparing data for the competitive individual. Auto-adjust technology automatically correlates tank resistance to the Bluetooth Monitor for real time power in watts. Display can be set to show the power Curve of each repetition or a cumulative Power Graph. Track your performance, every repetition, every set in real time.

The LCD monitor displays; Watts, Work (duration of exercise segment), Rest (duration of rest period), Time, Calories, Pulse (compatible with Polar Heart Rate Receiver &Transmitter Chest Strap), Level and Power Graph (data gathered from each workout is displayed in power curve & cumulative power graph, enabling real time comparisons for effective progressive training). Built in potentiometer automatically adjusts the computer’s resistance level according to the position of the Fluid Force Lever on the tank.

Fixed Crank Arm Length
Primarily designed for facilities where adjustable length crank arms are not required.

Self Levelling Ergo Handles
Self-leveling, comfortable ergonomic hand grips reduce wrist torque. Main Arm adjusts from horizontal to vertical with internal gas-assist mechanism ensuring instant adaptability.

Seat Adjustments
The seat adjusts easily at the touch of a lever and can be moved to the rear of the platform for standing usage (no need to remove seat from base).

Foot Support
Wide foot supports ensure a solid platform for any size user to maintain total stability during exercise.
